Howard to head foundation created from $3bn Paul Ramsay bequest

A new foundation — ambitious, generously funded and dedicated to the study and promotion of Western civilisation — will be ­announced within days. It will ­realise the long-held aspiration of healthcare and media entrepreneur Paul Ramsay, who died in 2014 leaving a philanthropic ­bequest of more than $3 billion.

Enriching the battle of ideas
