On Friday 14 December, 2018, the Ramsay Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Wollongong, who became the first of our three university partners.

The final funding agreement was finalised on 2 August 2019.

The Ramsay Centre supports UOW to:

• Offer a Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation degree
• Create a School of Liberal Arts
• Recruit ten academics, and support staff, specifically to deliver this program
• Refurbish dedicated facilities for the new School of Liberal Arts
• Offer up to 30 new scholarships valued at $20,000 p.a. for up to three years
• Offer an additional $12,000 p.a. to interstate or regional applicants for up to three years to assist with relocation and living expenses
• From 2026, offer a new Liberal Arts major across all faculties
• Provide international study opportunities for participating students
• Offer a summer school
